Nokia Remote Camera PT-6

Nokia Remote Camera PT-6

The Nokia Remote Camera helps you keep an eye – and an ear – on things. Install it indoors or outdoors, in your home or cottage, warehouse or office. When it detects motion, it snaps a photo and sends it as an MMS to your phone or to an email address. It’s peace of mind in a compact device.

Features:
More features

  • Use the camera indoors or out, from -20 to +50 degrees C
  • Built-in back-up battery
  • Remote control with a mobile phone
  • Operates on GSM 900/1800 networks
  • When near the camera, use Bluetooth wireless technology to configure the camera easily
  • Use the Remote Camera in a mobile home or boat with a separate mobile power source
  • Get automatic monitoring information as text messages, images or video clips with audio
  • Control the camera remotely via text messages or with the Remote Camera Manager application
  • Use the timer to activate imaging or monitoring at specified intervals

See for Yourself

Request a current image or video clip from the Nokia Remote Camera by sending an SMS message. You can also request that the image be sent to any mobile phone number or email address. Temperature and time information are automatically included in the message. Want an image or video clip at a specific time of day? Easy – the camera can be set to send images or videos at timed intervals or preset times.

The megapixel (1152×864) camera means your images will have good detail. If you’d rather see the scene in action, the Nokia Remote Camera sends video clips from 10-40 seconds in length (100 kB when sending by MMS), with sound included. And the camera never sleeps – with its infrared eyes it can also snap photos at night.

Monitor Temperature Changes

A good idea for the boat or cottage! Define your temperature limits and set the Nokia Remote Camera to send you an alert (by SMS or MMS) if those limits are exceeded. The Nokia Remote Camera keeps a temperature history from the last 24 hours – have it send to your phone as a list or graph.

Easy Control

The Nokia Remote Camera includes a Remote Camera Manager application for compatible Series 60 phones, which allows controlling and configuring the camera over a Bluetooth wireless connection or by SMS messages. If your mobile phone can’t use the application, don’t worry: it’s still easy to send commands, edit settings, and request information using SMS messages.
